Scripture Power

Today, I heard Brooklyn crying in the bedroom. This isn't unusual with her since she has rough and tough Mackenzie as a big sister. When I went to check on her, I discovered that they weren't fighting over a toy and Mackenzie wasn't attacking her. She was crying because Macky was bothering her while she was "reading" this....

Growing Up

Brooklyn has always been our little baby. But lately, she seems to be a little bit more like a toddler (running more, climbing more, etc.). She is two, of course. So this should be normal, right? It's just that for so long she has been the cute, cuddly baby in our family. So now, she's finally acting her age and growing up. Here are some pictures of her from this week. Most of these shouldn't be too monumental for a child her age. For Brooklyn though, reaching the top of the Little Tykes basketball hoop is like climbing Mt. Everest...seriously!
Climbing...way up high!

Playing in the sand

Brooklyn loves to "read" even if the book is upside down.
Brooklyn took a major "Big Girl" step and wanted to sleep in the big bed and not in her crib.
She's no Michael Jordan, but she can finally put the ball in the hoop. Watch our little All-Star in action!
